Obituary:
A copy of a recent issue of the Petersburg, Michigan "Sun" reports the
death of Ivory F. Howard, deceased was the son of Isaac and Sallie Howard
of Columbus and was born in the nearby town in 1828. He married Sarah J.
Bassett of Wayne township, she dying in 1907. The couple resided on a farm
in Wayne township until 1880 when the family moved to Michigan. In 1915
their home east of Petersburg, Mich., was destroyed by fire and Mr. Howard
had since resided with his children in Petersburg. His death occurred at
