Isaac Howard was born in Foster, R.I. August 22, 1795; early removed
to Columbus, N.Y. and married, January 1820, Sally Bassett, daughter of
Simon and Molly Bassett of Sherburne, N.Y. Resided in Columbus, N.Y.
removed to Columbus, Pa., about February, 1827; was a very prosperous
farmer; held various town offices; died in Wayne, Erie county, Pa.,
October 1, 1881. Sally (Bassett) Howard died in Columbus, Pa., November
17, 1896. Children: Mary Ette, born in Columbus, N.Y Oct 18, 1820 Hiram DeCalvis, born in Columus, N.Y. Sept 15, 1882 William Bassett, born in Columbus, N.Y.
