Obituary:
Ruth E. Hamilton, 87, of Pensacola, Fla, died at the Baptist Hospital in
Pensacola on Monday night, June 22, 1987. She was born June 10, 1900 in
Corry, daughter of the late Joseph Holden and Clara Lyons Holden. She was
raised and educated in the Corry area and was married to Roy E. Hamilton
in 1923. She worked at the Aero Supply Co. in Corry prior to World War II
and later worked for General Electric Co. in Erie. She and her husband
lived at R.D.1. Columbus until 1959, then removed to Sugar Grove. In 1977,
she moved to Fla where she has since lived. Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband Roy in 1973; a son
Ralph J. Hamilton, two brothers, Ralph and Glenn Holden, a sister Hazel
Breault. Surviving one son, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bracken Funeral Home, Corry, from 7 – 9 Wednesday.
A funeral service will be held there at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Orren
Smith of Grand Valley. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Columbus.
