Obit: Mrs. Ira Wilkins, of this city, Passed Away Wednesday, Afternoon at 3:30 O'Clock Mrs. Ira Wilkins, of No. 80 South Main street, this city passed out of her suffering to her eternal reward when death came about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. She had been ailing a long time, having had a stroke of apoplexy last summer, and Brights disease developed, making a complication that baffled all skill and an otherwise strong constitution. Mrs. Wilkins maiden name was Minnie Chapin. She was a daughter of Rev. and Mrs. O.A. Chapin, and was born at Bloomfield, Crawford county, Pennsylvania, May 5, 1865 and was therefore 54 years of age. She was united in marriage with Mr. Ira Wilkins January 30, 1884, and has resided with her husband in Union City and vicinity ever since. To this union were born four daughters, Bessie, Anna, Eva, and Annabelle. Miss Anna preceded her mother to the other world, having died 19 years ago. The other three now, Mrs. Albert Smith, of Bloomfield, PA (near the Wilkins Church) Mrs. Homer Johnson of Concord street, Union City, and Miss. Ananbell at home and the bereaved husband survive. Mrs. Wilkins also leaves two sisters and three brothers; Mrs. H. A. Sills of  Des Moines, Ia.; Mrs. James Whipple of Painesville, O.; Rev. Geo. W. Chapin, Mr. S.R. Chapin of the township; and Mr. Guy Chapin of McClelland Corners; and there are also four grandchildren and a host of friends. Mrs.Wilkins had been a member of the Union City Free Methodist Church for a number of years and was a very earnest Christian and ready and willing worker for the master. The funeral services will be held at the home No 80 South Main street at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by her pastor Rev. A. H. M. Zahniser. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery. The family have the sympathy of the community.
