Obituary: Former Resident Died At Erie Home Funeral Services For Mr. Liscom Brown Conducted This Afternoon Funeral services are being held from the Glenn Funeral Home this afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 o’clock in memory of Liscom D. Brown, 90, who passed away at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hauck, 21 Hally avenue, Erie, PA. Monday evening, December 13. Rev. S. D. West is in charge of the services. Burial will made in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Brown was the son of Jirah S. and Elmina Chapin Brown, was born April 24, 1853 in Rockdale, township, Crawford county. On October 4, 1871 he was united in marriage to Charlotte Odell who preceded him in death in 1937. Mr. Brown was well and favorably known here where he resided for more then fifty years. He was employed in the office of the Erie Railroad company and at the Eastman Manufacturing company for many years. He had been retired for the past several years. Besides his sister Mrs. Alta Leonard of this city he is survived by two nephews, Fred Brown of Puyallup, Wash, and Walter S. Brown of Erie, two nieces, Mrs. Dollie Chapin of this city and Mrs. Elva Fields of Arbuckle. |
