| Obituary: Mrs. Alta Leonard, age 91 years, passed away at her residence, 25 South Street, Union City, Friday October 24. Funeral services in charge of the Rev. Albert Hill, pastor of First Baptist Church were held from the Glenn Funeral Home, Union City Sunday afternoon October 26 at 2:30 o’clock and burial was in the Chapinville Cemetery. The deceased was survived by two nieces, Mrs. Dolly Chapin, Union City and Mrs. Field of Erie. | ||

She is buried in the cemetery adjoining the farm where she was born. It is on land that was settled by her grandparents (Samuel and Percy Holmes Chapin) in the 1830’s. |
