Obituary:
Hiram T. Barton died Mon. p.m. 4:30 o’clock at his home on Clymer Hill,
aged 72 yrs, 1 mo and 9 days. He had been a long time sufferer from
various causes and was afflicted with total blindness in his later days.
Mr. Barton was born in the town of Mina, Sept. 13, 1856. Survived by three
children. Mrs. Earl Braley, Byron Barton of Sherman and John Barton of
Union City, PA. Two brothers Horace Barton and Henry Barton and a sister
Mrs. Jason Skellie of North East, PA. Ten grandchildren and 17 great
grandchildren. Funeral services today at 1 o’clock at the house and 1:30
at the Clymer Hill Church. |
