Obituary:
Clayton R. Baccus, 84, of 843 E South St. Corry, died Oct 17, 1964, in the Quiet Acres Nursing Home in Spring Creek following an extended illness. Born in Freehold Township Warren Co on Dec 6 1879 he was a farmer in Columbus Township for 46 years and held the office of Township Supervisor for 6 years. After moving to Corry in 1950, he was custodian at Corry area High School until he retired 7 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Leapha Barton Baccus, to whom he was married in 1902 in Niobe. NY; 2 sons, Elwood and Arthur, Corry: 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephew. The funeral service will be conducted in Corry at 2 pm Tues by the Rev. Earl Docherty, Burial will follow in the Wrightsville cemetery.
