Obit: Hattie Herriott Dies Suddenly at Fredonia, NY
Mrs. Hattie Atkins Herriott, 51, widow of Elmer E. Herriott and a former resident of North East, died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday noon at her home in Fredonia, NY. She had but recently returned from California and Mexico where had been spending the winter.  She was a member of the Methodist Church of Fredonia and the American Legion Auxiliary and Order of the Eastern Star.  Surviving are a son Elmer Jr. of Miami, Fla. and several cousins.  Funeral services were conducted from the Blood and Larson Funeral Home, Fredonia at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Francis Whitman of Corry officiating.  Burial was in North East Cemetery.
