| Obituary: Victor O. Persons Worked as Operating Engineer Victor O. Persons, 76, 171 E. Wentworth, Englewood, Fla., and formerly of Union City, died at his home on Friday, June 21, 1991. He was born in North East, Dec. 9, 1922, the son of the late Ward and Agusta Albrecht Persons. Mr. Persons was an operating engineer and a member of the First Baptist church of Englewood, Fla. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Persons in 1980 and a sister, Winnie Staph in 1986. Survivors include his wife, Helen Shreve Persons of Englewood, who he married May 10, 1984; a daughter Debra Persons of Vermont, a son David Persons of Fairview; two stepdaughters, Julie Olssen of Tyronville, Pa., and Charlotte Burgan of Wooster, Ohio; a stepson, Walter Bujno ---, --- Alabama; a brother, William Persons of Union City; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home, 62 South Main St., Union City, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. and may attend funeral services there Monday at 11 a. m. The Rev. Manuel Aran will officiate. Burial will be at Riceville Cemetery. |
