Obituary: Wilbur D. Morton Wilbur D. Morton, aged 73 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vernon A. Smith at Sturgis Corners at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 1941. Besides his daughter he leaves his wife, Mrs. Hattie Morton; two sons, Walter of Bloomfield township; and David of Rockdale township. 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. There are two brothers, Ernest B. Morton of Kinzua and O. M. Morton of Union City. Services were conducted from the daughter's home on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. E. F. Amy officiating. Interment was made in Townline cemetery. Six grandsons served as pall bearers. Many beautiful flowers were in evidence of love and esteem. Cambridge Enterprise News - Thurs. Oct 16, 1941 |
