| Obituary: Lillian R. (Harrison) Borden Services for Lillian R. (Harrison) Borden, 97, of Perry Township, a homemaker, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Brunner-Nixon Funeral Home & Cremation Service. 176 N. State St., Painesville. Mrs. Borden died March 19, 2001 at Lake East Hospital in Painesville. Born Nov. 13, 1903 in Grand River, she lived in Painesville before moving to Perry Township two years ago. She was a member of Daughters of America 93, Painesville Council and a member of Rebecca Lodge in Painesville. Survivors are her daughters, Virginia Getch of Perry Township, Lucille (James) Szoka of Geneva, and Louise (Elmer) Buchs of Grand River, 17 grandchildren, 39 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Gertrude of Brookfield. Her companion, Edward J. Jacobson; daughter Florence McGee, sisters; Emma Burr, Mildred Nelson and Marion Vaux; and brothers, William and Charles Harrison, are deceased. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville. |
