Obituary: Victor E. Dudley Funeral services for Victor E. Dudley, sixty-five-year-old railroader whose lifeless body was found in a shallow pool of water south of North East Wednesday morning, will be conducted in the Marks funeral home, North East, at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. G. Morgan Davis officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in North East cemetery. Mr. Dudley’s body was found at the site of a bridge construction project on the Gulf rd., located south of North East, Wednesday morning. Death was caused by a heart attack, and not by drowning, according to the deputy coroner’s examination. His wife preceded him in death ten years ago and he is survived by a son, Victor, of Franklin; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Hellmann, Erie and Mrs. Arloween Forness, North East; six brothers, Harry, Atlee, Clyd and Frank, all of North East; Paul, Westfield, and Richard, Ashtabula. He also leaves six grandchildren and a great grandson. |
