| Obituary: Lyle F. Chase, 67, of 6700 W. Ridge Rd., Fairview, died at Saint Vincent Health Center Tuesday. Born in Union City on February 5, 1910, he was the son of the late Glenn F. and Mary Ellen Faulkner Chase. He had lived in Erie before moving to Fairview 26 years ago. He was retired from the Erie Press systems after 33 years service. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Burger Chase, two sons, Dale L. Chase of Millcreek and Daniel L. Chase of Girard; two brothers, Robert Chase of New Cumberland, Pa., and Charles Chase of Union City; a sister Hallie Chase of Union City; and three grandchildren. Friends may call at the Evans-Brugger Funeral Home, Fairview, Thursday from 7 to 9 and are invited to services there Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald E. Bloomster, pastor of the Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. |
