Obituary: Alton J. Brown, 73, a long time resident of Rockdale Township died Wednesday night at his home at R.D.#3 Cambridge Springs following an illness of 3 months. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Ada Patterson Brown, five sons; Oscar and Ora of R.D.#7 Meadville, Orin of R.D.#1 Townville, Orvis of R.D.#3 Cambridge Springs and Ormal of R.D.#1 Union City. Four daughters; Mrs. Carl Wolf and Mrs. Charles Merkey of R.D.# Elgin, Mrs. Orey Brown of Union City, and Mrs. Andrew Waldron of Mill Village. 39 grandchildren, a brother Washington Brown of R.D.# Cambridge Springs and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call after 4 o'clock this afternoon at the residence where prayer services will be held at 1 pm Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Riceville Church with interment following in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Levine Funeral Home. |
