Obituary: W. W. Gillette, a pioneer of Pendleton died last evening at the home of his son T.W. Gillette after a lingering illness caused by heart disease. Mr. Gillette was born December 25, 1863 and lived practically all his life in this county. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. A. P. Knight and T. W. Gillette of Pendleton and the following sisters: Mrs. Paul Tompkins of Los Angeles, Mrs. Myrtle Peters of Portland and Mrs. Jim Brown of Verona, Oregon. A brother W. B. Gillette of Kelso services also. |
