Obituary: Autumn May Peiffer, 92, formerly of 336 Venango Avenue, Cambridge Springs and a resident of Edinboro Manor, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1989 at Edinboro Manor. Mrs. Peiffer was born in Rockdale Township on Sept. 21, 1896, a daughter of Henry and Nettie Kelly Dine. She married Harold A. Peiffer on Dec. 6, 1916. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1984. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Cambridge Springs. She was also a member of the Dames of Malta in Meadville, the Ladies Social Auxiliary of the Meadville Elks Lodge and the Rockdale Garden Club. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Anita) McDonald of Erie and Mrs. Edward (Joanne) Kolin, Cambridge Springs, one son, Eugene Peiffer. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Van Matre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs. Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Terry Greelee, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Cambridge Springs officiating. Interment will be in Millers Station Cemetery in Rockdale Township. |
