Elizabeth passed away at the Abington Crest Nursing Home in Erie, PA at
the age of eighty three years, five months and seventeen days, after a
long illness. Her interest were in researching the fields of government
and law, including being very active in the Democratic party. She spent
many hours on crochet projects that she gave as gifts to her many friends and relatives. |

| Funeral services for Elizabeth Barton were held at the Bracken Funeral Home, Corry, PA at 2 pm on Oct 12th with Rev. Thomas Kennedy officiating. Bearers were James Doctor, Jason Doctor, Jon McEdlowney, Tim Wallace, Marty Fisher and James Averill Jr. Special music selected as part of the service was "The Rose" and "The Old Rugged Cross." At the graveside service a very emotional rendition of "Amazing Grace" was done by a lone bagpiper. | ||
