Brooks - Wilkins Popular Young Couple will be Married at U. B. Church in Youngsville This Evening Mr. Albert Brooks of this city and Miss. Marion Wilkins, of the township, went to Youngsville this morning where they will be united in marriage this evening. The ceremony will be solemnized at the United Brethren church this evening immediately after the Christmas exercises, and will be performed by Rev. E. H. Nichols, the pastor, in the presence of invited guests. After the ceremony the young couple will take a short wedding trip and when they return they will reside in this city and will be pleased to greet their many friends. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wilkins, who reside southeast of the city and the groom, while a resident of our city was formerly from that vicinity, both are popular and have many friends who will join in wishing them happiness and prosperity in their married life. |
