Marriage Announcement: King-Wilkins Popular young couple of this city united in marriage at Cambridge Springs on Tuesday. Mr. Fred B. King and Miss Edith C. Wilkins, both popular young people of this city were united in marriage at Cambridge Springs on Tuesday April 15th. The ceremony was performed by Rev Sheridan King, uncle of the groom and the beautiful ring service was used. Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple left for a short trip and on their return will reside in this city for the present, where they will receive the hearty congratulations of their many friends. The bride is a professional nurse and has been engaged at Pittsburg for the past year, and is one of the highly respected young ladies of this city and community, while the groom, who is a popular young man, has but recently been honorably discharged from the service, having been a member of the U.S. Signal Corps, stationed at Jersey City. |
