Young Couple Given Surprise
Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Howard Tendered Cordial Reception at Home of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Love
Sixty neighbors and friends met last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Love to give a surprise and miscellaneous shower to Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Howard. Many useful and beautiful presents were bestowed upon the young couple and Mr. Howard responded in an appropriate speech, thanking their friends for the demonstration of good will. At ten o'clock a fine supper was served and a delightful social time was spent until a late hour, Mr. and Mrs. Howard were the recipients of many cordial expressions of good will and wishes for a long and happy wedded life.

Death Notice: Harry Howard Passed Away
Harrison B. Howard, of W. Irving street passed away at Corry Hospital last evening about 8 o'clock following an operation for appendicitis performed last Sunday. Deceased was born and raised in Wayne township, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Howard residing north of the city. He was 23 years of age and leaves to mourn his untimely death, his wife who before her marriage, was Miss. Leah Love, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Love of Columbus avenue. The case is a very sad one and the young wife and bereaved families have the sympathy of the community. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the North Corry M.E. Church and the interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery.

The funeral of Harry Howard was held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the North Corry church, Rev. Woodin, of Columbus, officiating, and was well attended, Virgil Howard of Buffalo, Carl Howard and Frank Pierce of North East, and Harold Howard of Carter Hill, a brother of the deceased, served as pallbearers and interment was made in Pine Grove cemetery, a number of relatives were present from out of the city.
