Marriage Announcement: Chapin - Doane Nuptials Solemnized At The Home of The Brides Parents Last Evening In Presence of Large Company. The marriage of Miss Francis Helen Doane and Norris W. Chapin was solemnized at the home of the brides parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Doane, 15 Lincoln St., last evening at eight o'clock, in the presence of about fifty friends and relatives. The ceremony took place in front of a bower of ferns, smilex, and primroses, the Rev. B. A. Ginader of the First M. E. Church officiating. Mrs. Rachel Lord sang "O Promise Me" Miss Carol Bower presiding at the piano rendering Mendolshon's Wedding March. The house was beautifully decorated with maiden hair ferns and roses. After congratulations a beautiful wedding dinner was served. The young happy couple left for a short trip and after February 15th will be at home at No. 31 First Avenue. The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Chapin, Miss VaNore Chapin, Miss Blanche Chapin of East Palestine, Ohio; Miss Margaret Chapin of Kane, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scott of Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Truman Partridge of Warren, Ohio.
