50th Wedding Anniversary of Corry Couple
Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Howard Quietly Celebrated 50th Wedding Anniversary Saturday – Guests of Nephews on Eastern Trip. Saturday, April 30th, was the fiftieth wedding anniversary of City Commissioner and Mrs. Frank O. Howard, well known and highly respected residents of North Center street. Mr. and Mrs. Howard were married, just a half century ago at Columbus, Pa., and they have resided in this vicinity ever since, living in Corry a goodly portion of the time. The golden wedding anniversary was spent quietly at the home on North Center street, only a few intimate friends of the highly esteemed couple being aware of the event which Mr. and Mrs. Howard was celebrating. They were paid a visit by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Flanders of Titusville, the former being their nephew, leaving late in the afternoon for Titusville on the first leg of a tour of interesting points in the east as the guest of Mr. Flanders and another nephew, John Babbitt of Grove City.  During their absence, Mr. and Mrs. Howard will visit Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Washington and other points. The journal joins with countless friends and acquaintances in extending congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Howard.
