Martha Howard was born in Foster, R. I. August 21, 1793; moved with her father's family to Columbus, N.Y. in November 1803; married Lewis Raymond, son of Zaccheus Raymond, a farmer and resided at Osselic, Chenango county, N.Y.; removed to Wayne, Erie county, Pa., in September 1847; continued to reside in Pennsylvania till their deaths, living last in Columbus, Warren county. Lewis Raymond died September 12, 1852, aged 64. Martha Howard Raymond died June 24, 1854. They are buried at Wheelock, Erie Co. Pa.
