Obituary: Blanche Morton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Morton, Bloomfield Township was born Dec 15, 1880. She attended the schools of the township and in 1896 she was married to I. J. Morton. For several years they resided on a farm in Bloomfield township and then moved to the Summer Root farm on Yankee Hill where they lived for sixteen years. They then moved to their late residence on Townline road. Mr. Morton preceded her in death as did one son Earl. Five children survive, Mrs. Emma Waid, Bloomfield, Mary Morton at home, Phillip, Denny, and Howard all of Rockdale Township. |
