Obituary: Howard Norris Morton
Howard Norris Morton, 62, RD#1, Cambridge Springs, died suddenly at his home Sunday March 6. 1966. He was born in Crawford County on Aug. 13, 1903, a son of I. J. and Blanche Morton. He married the former Evelyn Zilhaver on June 6, 1935. Mr. Morton was employed as a farmer. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Drakes Mills, and of Cambridge Grange. Survivors in addition to his widow, include two daughters, Mrs. Adrian (Letha) Addleman of Buffalo, and Miss Genene Morton at home; five sons, Wilmer and Marvin of Cambridge Springs and Clarence, Ralph, and Howard Jr. all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Elvin (Emma) Waid of Union City and Mrs. Sammie (Mary) Brown of Cambridge Springs; and three grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the William Van Matre Jr. Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs, where services will be held at a time to be announced. The Rev. James W. Tipton of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be given to a memorial fund at
St. Paul's Church.
