Obituary: Miles Mickle
Mr. Miles Mickle, of the best known residents of Bloomfield Township died at the Meadville City Hospital of internal hemmorages and a stroke on the 6th of June 1928. Mr. Miles Mickle was born on the old Mickle farm at Mickle Hollow in Bloomfield. He as the son of Lucy and Anthony Mickle. He had four brothers and three sisters. One brother, Milo Mickle of Portland, Mich. survives him. He was married in 1874 to Estella Raymond of Corry, Pa., and three children were born of this union; Mrs. Pearl A. Humes deceased and Mrs. W.H. Kelly and Miss. Dora Mickle at home. He also leaves two grandsons, two granddaughters and one great grandson. The funeral was held at his late home in Bloomfield Township on the Townline and was conducted by Rev. Chapman of Cambridge Springs, assisted by Rev. Byron Mead of Little Cooley. The pall bearers were Mr. W. H. Kelly, Mr. Ross Kelly, Mr. Homer R. Humes and Mr. Martin Zilhaver. They were the son in laws of the deceased.
The interment took place at Miller Station Cemetery.
