Obituary: Bernice Josephine (Wojteszek) Martin, 85, of Union City, Pa., passed away on Monday, April 24, 2006. She was born September 8, 1920 in Springcreek, Pa., the daughter of the late Albert and Stella Wojtesszek. She was a homemaker and loved to crochet and Bingo. She was a member of the Wilkins Church and one time was a lay minister there. She was also a member of and active at the Union City Senior Center; Union City, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Martin, in 1991, by a son, Clifford Martin, in 1971; and a daughter Stella Louise Martin, in 1947. Calling hours will be held at the Glenn Funeral Home, 62 S. Main St. Union City, Pa., on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 10 a.m. Rev. James Reynolds will officiate and interment will be in Shreve Ridge Cemetery, Bloomfield Twp. Crawford County.
